September 12th, 2020 – Saturday Evening
“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.” ~2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NASB
What grace is available to us if we but come humbly before Him to find it! What comfort and strength lies in Him! I know that I grow weary, even in doing His good works and speaking His words, because I fail to rest in Him and therefore do not find that His grace is indeed sufficient for everything.
Read that benediction again. We have the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords anchoring us, comforting us, equipping us, and enabling us to walk with Him in His work! Let us not be proud and neglect such amazing goodness and grace.
