“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
Brother Nathan preached from Luke 2:25-38. His sermon could be titled “Living A Life of Anticipation”. It covered the story of yet another widow in Jesus’ day and the anticipation and realization she lived and enjoyed in seeing the Messiah. May we live today with the expectation and anticipation of our returning King of Kings!
