“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday, we continue our series “Knowing God, Following Jesus, and Living by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God (also dubbed ‘All That Is Within Me’)” by digging into Part 8 – Love – The Perfect Example. This is based in Matthew 20:20-28. The emphasis is having the right perspective of ourselves and seeing the perfect example of love in Jesus.

This Sunday is also the second Sunday of Advent, a special time of waiting and remembering before Christmas and in anticipation of Christ’s return. This second Sunday in Advent has the theme of “Love”.
