Worship Service
November 28, 2021 @ 10:00 am CST
“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday we jump into 2 Corinthians 9 in a sermon that could be titled “Responding to the Abundant Grace of God”. In this chapter we see a challenge for all believers in Christ to live in such a way that we open ourselves up to the full measure of the grace of God. Knowing and taking advantage of God’s abundant grace will cause our lives to overflow with it and we will be beacons and channels of the glory of God. As a result, brethren will be encouraged to the point of thanksgiving, those around us will be blessed, and God will be glorified. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
November’s Memory Verse: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” ~Habakkuk 2:14
