Worship Service

November 21, 2021 @ 10:00 am CST

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday we were in Psalm 95, Exodus 17, & a reference to Numbers 14 in a sermon that could be titled “Two Roads: Praise Or Pride”. As we tackled Psalm 95, we were reminded of the great privilege that we as believers have in knowing and worshipping the LORD. Not only is He completely worthy of our praise just because of who He is, but He also have done so much for us! The alternative to praise is a prideful attitude which will lead to a hardness of heart to the LORD. While pride was not specifically addressed (or at least not much), it was addressed in the context of bitterness or hardness against the LORD. May our hearts be ever tender to Him!

November’s Memory Verse: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” ~Habakkuk 2:14
