“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday we plan to continue our sermon series about the Church; Lord willing, in this series we will cover the cause and the purpose of the Church, its structure and integrity, its purity and its power, and the roles and responsibilities of men and women. Our expected passage this week is Ephesians 6:21-24 in a sermon that could be titled “Faithful Love, Enduring Grace, and Sincere Faith”. As we finish out this portion of our series with the book of Ephesians, we will be reminded once again of the glorious Good News of our reconciliation and eternal relationship with our Father and His Son. As we journey through this section of God’s Word, may we be encouraged to endure by His grace, challenged to love with His faithfulness, and emboldened to live with sincerity of heart and mind. May He get the glory in all things!!!
November’s Memory Verse: “Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.” ~Ephesians 6:24
