“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, we continue a new sermon series on the practical implications of the Gospel: Knowing God, following Jesus, and living by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. The title of the message for this week is “As A Man Thinks In His Heart – Bless the LORD, O My Soul” and it is based in Psalm 103, Mark 7:14-23, Jeremiah 17:5-10, Romans 1:18-32 & 12:1-2, and Philippians 4:4-9.
October’s Memory Verse: “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” ~Philippians 1:21
