“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, we plan to conclude our journey through 2 Thessalonians by finishing off the rest of chapter 3. Believers are commanded to live in accordance with what they have been taught and to keep away from those live differently. The purity that the Lord desires for His body is reflective of His own purity that He has given us through Christ. This way of life involves diligence and discipline, but it is a life that is blessed with the peace and grace of the Lord (Master) Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! May He continue to work in each of us for His glory!
September’s Memory Verse: “Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.” ~2 Thessalonians 3:5 NKJV
