“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, we plan to finish the first letter of Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the Thessalonian believers. In this final segment we dig into one of the great benedictions of the Bible (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) and see how we get to participate with God in His sanctifying work. He is faithful and we can always trust in Him!
