Worship Service

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday we plan to jump into 1 Samuel 22 & Psalm 52 in a sermon that could be titled “The Sovereignty of God and the Foolishness of Man – The Wages Of Sin Is Death – Part 1”. As we study these passages, we will see some of the terrible consequences of David’s lies from the last chapter and David’s reaction, presumably to hearing of them. While this is a difficult section of God’s Word to hear and it is not pleasant, it is given for our benefit and growth. May we have tender hearts to Him and His Word, and may we respond with obedient hearts!
