“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday we plan to continue in our study in 1 Samuel as we jump into chapter 19 and Psalm 59 in a sermon titled “The LORD Is My Strength”. As we do, we will again see the sovereignty and protection of the LORD over His people, the wickedness of those opposed to His way, and the faithfulness of those who fear Him.
