Worship Service

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday we plan to continue our sermon series about the Church; Lord willing, in this series we will cover the cause and the purpose of the Church, its structure and integrity, its purity and its power, and the roles and responsibilities of men and women. Our passage this week is Ephesians 4:14-16. The sermon could be titled “No Longer Children – Growing Toward Christ”. As we dig deeper into this passage may our Father and God have His way in our hearts. May we put off the childish ways of the past and embrace the high and holy calling of Christ-likeness. May His Church grow up and build itself up as His Body in love. May we all examine our lives and submit ourselves wholeheartedly to Him.
