“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, as we commemorate Independence Day in the United States of America, we turn our attention to the true source of liberty and justice – the Lord God Almighty. Our passage of focus is 2 Chronicles 20 and the sermon is titled “Dependently Independent – A Nation’s Hope and Trust in the Living God”.
