“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

Last Sunday was Father’s Day. In light of this special occasion that seeks to honor fathers, we plan to deviate from our series on the Church and dig into the book of Ruth. This may seem strange for a day designed to highlight fatherhood, but the book of Ruth contains the story of Boaz, a godly man who gave us a picture of the redemption of Christ. The story of Boaz is not only fascinating, it is also a call to courageous manhood – stepping into the roles of husband and father as a man who honors the LORD above all else. May God receive the glory as we respond to His Word and Spirit with humility, courage, and joyful obedience.
