Worship Service
June 18 @ 10:00 am CDT
“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday is Father’s Day! May the Lord Jesus strengthen and encourage the hearts of fathers near and far in doing the Father’s will and work! We hope to jump into Genesis 22:1-19 today in a sermon titled “A Father’s Faith and The Father’s Faithfulness”. As we dig into this section of God’s Word, we see Abraham, a man who trusted the LORD so much that he did not question the LORD’s command to offer Isaac as a burnt offering. True to His nature, the LORD intervened and confirmed Abraham’s faith by showing His faithfulness and provision to the man who trusted in Him. May our hearts be encouraged and challenged today to be the men (and women) of faith that God has redeemed us to be! He is the faithful God who will never forsake those who trust in Him.
June’s Memory Verse:
“But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.” ~1 Timothy 6:11
