“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday we plan to continue our sermon series about the Church; Lord willing, in this series we will cover the cause and the purpose of the Church, its structure and integrity, its purity and its power, and the roles and responsibilities of men and women. Our passage this week is Ephesians 3:14-21 in a sermon that could be titled “A Powerful Prayer, a Powerful God, and a Powerful Purpose”. The section of Scripture that we get to tackle today is a prayer and benediction that Paul offers up for the Ephesian believers and to the High King of heaven. As usual, we will learn MUCH as we look at the substance of Paul’s prayer for the believers; that substance is rich with God’s purpose for us in Christ – that we would be filled with all the fullness of God. May our hearts be tender to the Lord, believing Him and walking in the strength of His Spirit, so that we will be filled with His power and submitted to His authority.
