Worship Service

June 2 @ 10:00 am CDT

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

Today we plan to turn our attention to our second installment in a series on remembering; our primary text is Psalm 78:1-11 and the sermon is titled “Remember & Reiterate – Declaring the Works of God to the Next Generation”. In this passage of God’s Word, we find reminders to remember, as well as the dangers of forgetting. God is faithful and He can be trusted, but so often we find ourselves in trouble or floundering in our faith because we have forgotten to remember Him. The danger of not remembering doesn’t just affect us, though; rather, when we fail to remember, we will also fail to reiterate God’s works to the next generation. Instead of focusing on ourselves and our problems, we can rest in the reality of Who the LORD is, and joyfully declare His praise and His deeds to those who follow after us. PRAISE THE LORD for He is worthy of all praise!!!

June’s Memory Verse:

One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.
” ~Psalm 145:4-5
