Worship Service
May 14 @ 10:00 am CDT
“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!! As we celebrate mothers (physical and spiritual) today, we turn our attention to Genesis 16 and part of the story of Abram, Sarai, and Hagar. In this sermon, titled “Confronted By The God-Who-Sees”, we will be reminded of the omniscience and omnipresence of our loving and faithful God. Hagar fled Sarai, but she was turned back – not by violence or harsh dealings, but by the merciful and compassionate God-Who-Sees. May we rejoice in the mercy of God and rest in His sovereign hand!
May’s Memory Verse:
“Now godliness with contentment is great gain.” ~1 Timothy 6:6
