“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

Today is Palm Sunday! As we celebrate the King of Kings and remember His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we plan to dig into Matthew 21:1-17. Our sermon is titled “Jesus Christ – Worthy of Our Worship”. This passage includes Jesus’ prophecy regarding the donkey and her colt, the homage of the people on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus’ clearing of the temple and healing of the afflicted, and the Jewish leaders’ outrage at the praises of the children. As we dive into this section of God’s Word, may our hearts be tender to the reality of the fickle human heart and our need to make sure that our hearts and minds are focused on Jesus in true worship and honor. May God get all the glory and may we rejoice in our coming King of Kings!
