Worship Service

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This Sunday we plan to take a break from our series on the Church and look at our Redeemer’s example of servitude. Our passage is Matthew 20 and our sermon title is “Jesus Christ – Servant of All”. As we dig into this chapter together, we will be reminded of our need to keep our eyes off of ourselves and on the King of Kings. This, of course, is nothing unusual for those who trust and know Jesus, though; He was the perfect example of humility and trust…including throughout this chapter. As we are reminded of the attitude and action of this perfect Servant, may our lives be transformed more and more into Christ’s image. May God be glorified in His Church as we submit to Him and serve each other.
