Worship Service

March 3 @ 10:00 am CST

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3

What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!

This week we take a look at the familiar story of Jesus and the woman at the well, as we look ahead to Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. This sermon, based in John 4:1-42 (referencing John 7:38), is titled “Drinking From the Fountain of Living Water”. Aside from some of the interesting and parenthetical observations and notes that we can glean from Jesus’ encounter with this Samaritan woman, we see a much deeper and more important reality in Jesus’ careful words: Jesus is the complete embodiment of the Living God; only in Him is real life found, and only in Him can we find the living water that satisfies. As we unpack these passages and reference others, may God open the eyes of our hearts to see and know Him and His love more. May we find in Jesus true satisfaction, joy, and life, and may God fill us to overflowing with His Spirit. Hallelujah!!!

March’s Memory Verse:

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” ~John 7:38
