“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, we continue our series “Knowing God, Following Jesus, and Living by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God (also dubbed ‘All That Is Within Me’)” by digging into Part 18 – A Shocking, Yet Powerful Response – Bless and Do Not Curse. This is based in Romans 12:14. The emphasis is on how believers are to bless those who persecute them.
February’s Memory Verses: “Distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.” ~Romans 12:13-15 NKJV
