“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, we continue our series “Knowing God, Following Jesus, and Living by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God (also dubbed ‘All That Is Within Me’)” by digging into Part 16 – Persistently Dependent On the God of Hope. This is based in Romans 12:12. The emphasis is on how believers can live in prayerful, yet, rejoicing hope, no matter what happens, because of the unchanging nature of God.
January’s Memory Verse: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” ~Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
