“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.” ~Psalm 95:1-3
What a privilege to come and worship the Great I Am together! While every service isn’t exactly the same, we usually have some opening Scripture, announcements, a memory verse, singing, prayer requests and prayer time, and a sermon from God’s Word. May the Lord draw each one closer to Himself and work in powerful ways through His Spirit and Word!
This Sunday, the first day and first Sunday of the year, we plan to refocus our attention on our faithful and sovereign LORD in a sermon that could be titled “Rejoice the LORD Is King”. Our main text is Psalm 29. May our hearts rejoice in Him and may we bow in worship and humble submission to His perfect rule and reign!
January’s Memory Verse: “The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.” ~Psalm 29:10
