Community Bible Church is a people who have been redeemed and reconciled to God through Christ Jesus’ death and resurrection for the glory of God. We have been brought together in Jesus in order to do the good works which God has prepared for us through the power of His indwelling Spirit. We seek to be surrendered to Him in every area of life and to love Him and each other in every way.
What a privilege to come together to worship the King of Kings! We gather to sing, to pray, to be equipped in God's Word, to give, to receive, and to encourage each other for the glory of God.
This is a special time where we come together to study God's Word, participate in group discussion, hear updates from kingdom workers, and/or view or listen to various resources.
As God's kingdom work advances across the globe, we have the privilege of joining our brothers and sisters who are serving in different contexts and cultures by lifting them up in prayer. This meeting also serves as an opportunity to get an update on various kingdom workers.
The church is called to come together before the throne of God and lift up our voices in worship, adoration, supplication, intercession, and thanksgiving. Occasionally, these are specially called meetings that have a specific focus.
Men are invited to join their brothers in Christ in lifting the needs of the church, as well as other prayer requests, before the throne of the Father. This special time of Scripture, prayer, and fellowship normally occurs 2 to 3 times a month on Thursday evenings.
The ladies of CBC and other ladies from the community are invited to join together on most Mondays throughout the school year for a time of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.
All men are invited to come and dig deeper into the Word of God together with the purpose of knowing God more and being set apart for Him and His glory.
